The People Behind Medjool
Ramin Rafiei
Founder
Ramin founded Medjool with a belief that every gathering, no matter the size, deserves genuine care and thoughtful attention. With over 15 years in the restaurant and catering industry, he is the founder of Bella Balducci's Mediterranean Cuisine, Kabob Korner, and Diyar Persian and Mediterranean Restaurant, with four active locations across Washington State. Over the years, he has personally guided hundreds of catering events, from corporate gatherings for leading companies to big weddings serving over 400 guests. For Ramin, every event begins the same way: with listening, understanding, and making sure every guest feels truly valued.

2010
The journey begins as Ramin and his cousin open their first restaurant, combining food, family, and heartfelt hospitality from day one. Catering quickly becomes a natural part of the story, serving gatherings of every size.
2016
The family expands, opening new locations and building a reputation for quality, warmth, and genuine care across the region.
2022
Catering grows with a dedicated focus, bringing connection and flavor to corporate events, weddings, and community celebrations across Washington State.

Medjool Catering is born, carrying over 15 years of restaurant and catering experience into a new chapter devoted to understanding, elegance, and refined celebrations.
